Craniotech utilises the latest in 3D- imaging and printing technologies to assist healthcare professionals in surgical planning and execution. Surgical guides are designed according to the patient anatomy for the specific region and requirement as prescribed by the surgeon.
We provide a selection of guides for opening, closing and derotation corrections of both the femur and the tibia, with special consideration for creating adequate hinge anatomy, guiding screw hole placement and guiding osteotomy planes. Where applicable, and by surgeon request, biplanar cutting guides are also made available by our team of specialists.
The following video shows an example of the use of one of our custom hight-tibial osteotomy guides. In this example the guide allows for valgisation as well as posterior slope correction.
