Craniotech uses CT scan data, together with occlusal stone models to provide virtual surgical planning for orthognathic surgeries. This allows the surgeon to simulate the procedure with surgically accurate placements of osteotomies and bony movements.
The outcome produces surgical guides and implants that remove the need for intermedate and/or final bite splints. The custom components confirm the accurate transfer of the virtual plan into the operating theater. Additionally, a surgical planning report illustrates the intended osteotomies and the desired cephalometric measurements. Patient-specific surgical guides are included where required.
